Information Technology Executive Exchange (ITEEx) is an executive membership organization serving the IT Executive leadership. ITEEx’s focus is building a powerful consortium of IT leaders, who will leverage each other’s networks, best practices, and general wisdom to advance their organizations and most importantly, their careers. ITEEx accomplishes this task primarily through the development of communities of IT Executives called special interest groups (SIG). SIGs can be either industry specific or technology/function specific. Currently, ITEEx has industry specific SIGs in Healthcare, Financial Services, Higher Education, Distribution, Manufacturing and Insurance. The technology/functional SIGs consist of Enterprise Data Architecture, Information Security, Business Intelligence and PMO+CMO. ITEEx is prepared to create new SIGs as long as there is an active interest on the part of the IT executive community. ITEEX has developed many strategic alliances with leading associations, state&local government entities, educational institutions, and technology providers to provide effective communication and education resources to its membership.

Working as an intermediary or “exchange”, ITEEx identifies poignant research, associations, events, as well as the actual technologies that will allow its member companies to gain a competitive advantage in the global marketplace.

It is often heard in the IT community: “Let's stop the brain drain coming out of our great universities and labs, and create an environment, where emerging technologies can exist and flourish.” The bottom line is that we have the right players, resources, and now, the organization to make this a reality. In order to do this, we must first create a true sense of "community", where our technology leaders can share best practices, successful vendor referrals, and career development advice daily. ITEEx is such an environment!

High-level, collegial information sharing also provides an expert forum for the introduction and cultivation of ground-breaking technology products and services
